Active ingredients
One sachet contains; Active ingredient: ketoprofen lysine salt 40 mg (equivalent to 25 mg ketoprofen). Excipient with known effect: aspartame. Full list of excipients.
Excipients
Mannitol, xylitol, lime flavor, lemon flavor, Frescofort flavor, aspartame, talc, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer, magnesium stearate, hydrated colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, stearic acid, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate.
Directions
Taking IlMotask orally soluble sachets can quickly relieve pain such as headaches, menstrual pain, toothache and neck pain, thanks to the dual action that acts directly on inflammation, providing rapid relief.
Dosage
Dosage Adults and adolescents over 15 years: 1 sachet once or repeated 2-3 times daily for the most severe forms of pain. The duration of therapy should be limited to the resolution of the painful episode (see section 4.4). Special patient groups Elderly patients: Elderly patients should adhere to the minimum dosages indicated above. Patients with mild to moderate renal impairment: it is recommended to monitor urine output and renal function (see section 4.4). Patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment: should be closely monitored and treated with the minimum effective daily dose (see section 4.4). ILMOTASC should not be used in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment (see section 4.3). Paediatric population ILMOTASC is contraindicated in children and adolescents under 15 years of age. Method of administration The contents of the sachet can be placed directly on the tongue. Dissolves in saliva: this allows it to be used without water. It is best to take the medicine on a full stomach.
Contraindications/Side effects
ILMOTASC must not be administered in the following cases: • hypersensitivity to the active substance, to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1. • patients with a history of hypersensitivity reactions such as bronchospasm, asthma attacks, acute rhinitis, nasal polyps, urticaria, angioedema or other allergic-type reactions to ketoprofen or substances with a similar mechanism of action [e.g. acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)]. Severe, rarely fatal, anaphylactic reactions have been reported in such patients (see section 4.8). • active gastric ulcer/bleeding or previous history of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcer or perforation (two or more separate, confirmed episodes of bleeding or ulceration) or chronic dyspepsia. • gastrointestinal bleeding or gastrointestinal perforation due to previous NSAID therapy or other active bleeding or bleeding disorders. • severe heart failure. • severe liver failure. • severe renal failure. • bleeding diathesis and other bleeding disorders, as well as patients undergoing anticoagulant therapy. • patients who have undergone major surgery. • third trimester of pregnancy and lactation, children and adolescents up to 15 years.”
