Principes actifs
dichlorhydrate de cétirizine ; chlorhydrate de pseudoéphédrine.
Excipients
Excipients de la première couche : hypromellose, cellulose microcristalline, silice colloïdale anhydre, stéarate de magnésium. Excipients de la deuxième couche : lactose, cellulose microcristalline, croscarmellose sodique, dioxyde de silicium colloïdal anhydre, stéarate de magnésium. Excipients de l’enveloppe : Opadry Y-1-7000 blanc (méthocel E5, premium (hypromellose) (E 464), dioxyde de titane (E 171), macrogol 400).
Mode d’emploi
Traitement symptomatique à court terme de la rhinite allergique saisonnière et/ou perannuelle avec congestion et hypersécrétion nasale, démangeaisons du nez et/ou des yeux, éternuements et larmoiement.
Contre-indications/effets secondaires
Hypersensibilité à la substance active, à l’un des éléments énumérés excipients, dérivés de l’hydroxyzine ou de la pipérazine ; insuffisance rénale sévère (patients avec clairance de la créatinine inférieure à 10 ml/min) ; hypertension sévère ; cardiopathie ischémique sévère ; patients traités ou ayant été traités au cours des deux semaines précédentes par des inhibiteurs de la monoamine oxydase ; augmentation de la pression intraoculaire ; rétention urinaire ; enfants de moins de 12 ans ; grossesse et allaitement.
Posologie
Adultes et enfants de 12 ans et plus : un comprimé 2 fois par jour, un le matin et un le soir, sans croquer, pendant ou entre les repas. La durée du traitement ne doit pas dépasser la période des symptômes aigus et en aucun cas elle ne doit durer plus de 7 jours. Après 7 jours de traitement, poursuivre le traitement par la cétirizine seule. Patients atteints d’insuffisance rénale : chez les patients atteints d’insuffisance rénale, la dose doit être divisée par deux. Patients atteints d’insuffisance hépatique : chez les patients atteints d’insuffisance hépatique, la dose doit être divisée par deux. Population pédiatrique : le médicament est contre-indiqué chez les enfants de moins de 12 ans.
