With pain, Voltaren Emulgel has three actions: relieves pain, eliminates its most common cause – inflammation and speeds up recovery.
What is Voltaren Emulgel?
Voltaren Emulgel contains the active substance diclofenac. It belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is specially formulated to be rubbed into the skin.
Voltaren Emulgel relieves pain, relieves inflammation and reduces swelling.
Voltaren Emulgel is used for the local treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, i.e. to eliminate pain and inflammation of muscles and joints, and can be widely used in the following conditions:
teenagers from 14 years old:
short-term local treatment of acute injuries such as sprains, bruises and blunt injuries (sports injuries);
adults (from 18 years old):
soft tissue injuries, post-traumatic conditions: damage to tendons, muscles and joints, for example, with dislocation, sprain or bruise;
backache;
as well as after consulting a doctor in the following conditions:
localized forms of soft tissue rheumatism such as tennis elbow;
pain with minor osteoarthritis of the peripheral joints and knees.
How should I use Voltaren Emulgel for pain?
Apply Voltaren Emulgel for pain three to four times a day. Massage the gel into the skin in an amount corresponding to the size of a cherry or walnut. Then wash your hands. The gel should dry on the skin a few minutes before the treated area is covered with clothing.
When not to use Voltaren Emulgel
Do not use Voltaren Emulgel:
Symptoms of an allergic reaction to these medicines may include: wheezing or shortness of breath (asthma), skin rash with blisters or hives, swelling of the face or tongue, runny nose; ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure;
if you are allergic to diclofenac or other medicines used to treat pain, fever or inflammation, such as ibuprofen or acetylsalicylic acid (a substance also used to prevent blood clotting), or to any of the other ingredients;
the use of this drug during pregnancy is possible only in the 1st and 2nd trimester, as well as the use during breastfeeding, but the use should always be consulted with a doctor.

Qu’est-ce que Voltaren Emulgel ?
Voltaren Emulgel contient le principe actif diclofénac. Il appartient à un groupe de médicaments appelés anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens. Il est spécialement formulé pour être frotté sur la peau.
Voltaren Emulgel soulage la douleur, soulage l’inflammation et réduit l’enflure.
Voltaren Emulgel est utilisé pour le traitement local des maladies du système musculo-squelettique, c’est-à-dire pour éliminer la douleur et l’inflammation des muscles et des articulations, et peut être largement utilisé dans les conditions suivantes :
adolescents à partir de 14 ans :
traitement local de courte durée des blessures aiguës telles que les entorses, les ecchymoses et les blessures contondantes (blessures sportives);
adultes (à partir de 18 ans) :
lésions des tissus mous, conditions post-traumatiques : lésions des tendons, des muscles et des articulations, par exemple, avec luxation, entorse ou ecchymose ;
mal au dos;
ainsi qu’après consultation d’un médecin dans les conditions suivantes :
formes localisées de rhumatismes des tissus mous tels que le coude de tennis ;
douleur avec arthrose mineure des articulations périphériques et des genoux.
Comment dois-je utiliser Voltaren Emulgel pour la douleur ?
Appliquez Voltaren Emulgel contre la douleur trois à quatre fois par jour. Massez le gel dans la peau en une quantité correspondant à la taille d’une cerise ou d’une noix. Ensuite, lavez-vous les mains. Le gel doit sécher sur la peau quelques minutes avant que la zone traitée ne soit recouverte de vêtements.
Quand ne pas utiliser Voltaren Emulgel
N’utilisez jamais Voltarène Emulgel :
Les symptômes d’une réaction allergique à ces médicaments peuvent inclure : une respiration sifflante ou un essoufflement (asthme), une éruption cutanée accompagnée de cloques ou d’urticaire, un gonflement du visage ou de la langue, un écoulement nasal ; demandez à votre médecin ou à votre pharmacien si vous n’êtes pas sûr;
si vous êtes allergique au diclofénac ou à d’autres médicaments utilisés pour traiter la douleur, la fièvre ou l’inflammation, tels que l’ibuprofène ou l’acide acétylsalicylique (une substance également utilisée pour empêcher la coagulation du sang), ou à l’un des autres composants ;
l’utilisation de ce médicament pendant la grossesse n’est possible qu’aux 1er et 2ème trimestres, ainsi que l’utilisation pendant l’allaitement, mais l’utilisation doit toujours être consultée avec un médecin.
