PRENACAPS is a line of dietary supplements intended for women who are trying to conceive, are pregnant and breastfeeding. The products are distinguished by a pure composition – no artificial fillers, preservatives, dyes and sweeteners. PRENACAPS MULTI 1 is a complex of 15 ingredients intended for women up to the 12th week of pregnancy. The product contains highly digestible and active forms of ingredients (including zinc citrate, L- selenomethionine, methylcobalamin). It also includes a biologically active form of folic acid (Quatrefolic®) with research-proven high bioavailability. Studies have shown that Quatrefolic® achieved over 3 times higher maximum concentration of the active substance 1 hour after administration compared to folic acid and over 9 times higher total bioavailability of the active substance compared to folic acid. In addition, Quatrefolic® achieved over 10% higher maximum concentration of active substance after administration compared to calcium L-methylfolate. ACTIVE FORMS OF INGREDIENTS To folic acid, vit. B6 and vit. B12 could be used by the body and must be converted into its active form after ingestion.
