Nurofen Forte is a drug that contains the maximum dose of the active substance that relieves even troublesome pain (the maximum strength of the product is 400 mg available without a prescription). Nurofen Forte works against pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity (headaches, including tension pain and migraine, toothache, neuralgia, muscle, joint and bone pain, pain associated with flu and colds, dysmenorrhea). Moreover, it does not have a fever of various origins (e.g. in the course of flu, colds or other infectious diseases).
Application information
The drug should be used orally, for a short time. Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet every 4 hours. The tablets should be washed down with fluid. Do not use more than 3 tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) in a day. In the case of liver or kidney failure, the doctor will determine the individual dosage. The drug is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Elderly: no dose adjustment is necessary. Do not use more than the recommended dose of the drug. A doctor should be consulted if treatment is necessary for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen.
Composition and storage information
1 Nurofen Forte film-coated tablet contains 400 mg of ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It relieves symptoms such as fever, pain and swelling by acting where they originate.
Do not store above 25 ° C. Keep the drug out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use Nurofen Forte after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and on the blister (after EXP). The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
