The active ingredient is simethicone.
1 ml of emulsion for oral administration contains 40 mg of simethicone.
Excipients: macrogol stearate, glycerol monostearate 40-55, carbomer, banana flavor, acesulfame potassium, liquid sorbitol (non-crystallizing), sodium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium hydroxide, sorbic acid, purified water.
Dosage

The usual dose for gastrointestinal problems with excessive gas accumulation in the digestive tract is:
25 drops are 1 ml of the preparation.
Shake well before use.
After consultation with a doctor, Espumisan can also be administered to patients in the postoperative period.
Espumisan can be taken immediately before, during or after a meal and, if necessary, at bedtime.
Treatment should be continued until the symptoms subside, but not longer than 14 days without consulting a doctor.
Action
The active substance of the drug, simethicone, causes the breakdown of gas bubbles contained in a large part of food and gastrointestinal mucus. As a result, the gases thus released can be absorbed by the intestinal wall or removed from the gastrointestinal tract by peristaltic movements of the intestine.
Indication
Espumisan is used:
For the symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with excessive gas production, such as flatulence, colic in infants older than 1 month
As an aid in preparation for abdominal examinations such as radiological and ultrasound examinations and gastroscopy.
As a defoamer in case of poisoning with surfactants (detergents).
Contraindication

Warnings and precautions
