Composition
Active ingredient: 400 mg ibuprofen.
Other ingredients: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium croscarmellose, hypromellose, stearic acid, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate. Film-coated tablet 400 mg: hypromellose, macrogol, talc, titanium dioxide (E171).

Scope
The drug Ibuprofen Zentiva 400 mg contains ibuprofen, which belongs to a group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
. These drugs have analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects.
Adults and adolescents (12-18 years, 40 kg and over):
Ibuprofen Zentiva 400 mg is indicated for short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as: Headaches (including migraines), back pain, muscle and joint pain, toothache, menstrual pain.
Ibuprofen Zentiva 400 mg also relieves acute pain and fever associated with colds.

Dosage
Swallow the film-coated tablet with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or suck the film-coated tablet to avoid irritation of the stomach or throat. If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended
to take this medicine with food.

The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible time to relieve symptoms.
The dose of ibuprofen in children and adolescents depends on the patient’s age and body weight.
Ibuprofen Zentiva 400 mg should not be used in adolescents weighing less than 40 kg or in children under 12 years of age.
Taking doses higher than recommended may be dangerous. Do not take different types of painkillers at the same time unless prescribed by a doctor.
Mild to moderate pain, as well as severe pain and fever associated with a cold.
For children, use Ibuprofen Zentiva 200 mg. Ibuprofen Zentiva can be given to children under twelve years of age only on prescription.
Adults and adolescents weighing 40 kg or more (12 years and older): maximum daily dose: 1200 mg.
The dose should be taken as follows:
take one film-coated tablet once or up to three times a day. Wait at least 4 to 6 hours between doses. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 3 film-coated tablets.
Taking more than 400 mg at a time does not provide better pain relief.

Migraine.
Adults and adolescents weighing 40 kg or more (over 12 years):
Maximum daily dose: 1200 mg.
The dose should be taken as follows:
one 400 mg film-coated tablet as needed, one to three times daily. Wait at least 4 to 6 hours between doses.
Taking more than 400 mg at a time does not provide better pain relief.

Menstrual cramps
Adults and adolescents weighing 40 kg or more (over 12 years):
Maximum daily dose: 1200 mg.
The dosage should be taken as follows:
One 400 mg film-coated tablet at the first sign of menstrual discomfort, 1 to 3 times daily. Wait at least 4 to 6 hours between doses.
Taking more than 400 mg at a time does not provide better pain relief.

Elderly patients
If you are an elderly person, you should always consult your doctor before using Ibuprofen Zentiva 400 mg. If you are older, you are more susceptible to side effects, especially gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation, which can be fatal. Your doctor will advise you accordingly.

Impaired liver or kidney function
