Composition
Active ingredients: 683.47 mg Ibuprofen DL-lysine.
Excipients: Copovidone, Sodium carboxymethyl starch type A, Methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), Microcrystalline cellulose, siliconized, Polyvinyl alcohol, partially hydrolyzed, Magnesium stearate (vegetable), Sodium bicarbonate, Macrogol 4000, Titanium dioxide, talc.
Scope
The drug is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug/antirheumatic drug, NSAID).
The drug is used for short-term symptomatic treatment of: Headaches and migraines.
The drug is indicated for use in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older with a body weight of 40 kg or more.
Dosage
If adults need to take/use this medicine for more than 3 days for migraine or more than 4 days for pain, or if symptoms worsen, seek medical advice.
If adolescents need to take/use this medicine for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen, seek medical advice.
Recommended dose:
Body weight (age): >/= 40 kg (adolescents from 12 years and adults)
Single dose: 1 film-coated tablet equivalent to 400 mg ibuprofen (as ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1))
Max. daily dose: 3 film-coated tablets equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen (as ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1))
If you have taken a single dose, wait at least 6 hours before taking the next dose.
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest period of time needed to relieve symptoms. If you have an infection, contact your doctor immediately if symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen.
Children and adolescents
Do not use this medicine in children under 12 years of age or in adolescents weighing less than 40 kg.
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.
If you have had bronchospasms, asthma attacks, nasal congestion, skin reactions or sudden swelling after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in the past.
In cases of unexplained blood disorders.
In case of existing or recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (at least 2 different episodes of confirmed ulcers or bleeding).
If you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation due to previous therapy with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
In case of bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular haemorrhage) or other active bleeding.
In case of severe liver or kidney dysfunction.
In cases of severe heart failure.
severe dehydration (caused, for example, by vomiting, diarrhoea or insufficient fluid intake).
In the last trimester of pregnancy.
