Indications
In the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of various organs and tissues, especially of the musculoskeletal system (tenosynovitis, bursitis, styloiditis, epicondylitis, periarthritis, etc.) and post-traumatic conditions (soft tissue swelling after surgery, dislocations, sprains).
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The use of the drug is possible if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child. A doctor’s consultation is required.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.
Known hypersensitivity to yarrow, chamomile, marigold, perennial daisy, echinacea, mountain arnica, or other plants of the Compositae family. Hypersensitivity to emulsifying cetylstearyl alcohol. Tuberculosis, leukemia, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, human immunodeficiency virus and other autoimmune diseases. Children under 3 years of age due to lack of clinical data.
Side effects

How to take, course of administration and dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed, children from 3 years of age and adults apply a sufficient amount of ointment in a thin layer on the skin of painful areas of the body and rub in with light movements 2-3 times a day. It is possible to apply an ointment bandage.
The course of treatment for post-traumatic conditions – 2 weeks or more; with inflammatory diseases – at least 3-4 weeks.
Overdose
Cases of overdose have not been reported to date.
Description
The ointment is white to yellowish or pinkish white in color, with a faint, characteristic odor, no rancid odor should be felt. Homogeneous, without traces of physical instability (particle aggregation, phase separation, coagulation).
Special Instructions
1. To increase the effectiveness of treatment, it is recommended to take various dosage forms of Traumeel® S, for example, ointments, drops or tablets and a solution for intramuscular and periarticular administration.
2. When taking homeopathic medicines, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (primary deterioration). In this case, you should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor. In case of violation of the skin and skin diseases, the ointment should be used after consulting a doctor.
The tube should be closed immediately after using the drug.
