Tantum Verde, an aerosol for use in the mouth and throat, contains the active substance – benzydamine, belonging to indole non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for local and general use.
Benzydamine is characterized by anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects and has a local anesthetic and disinfectant effect. The drug is well absorbed locally, reaching high concentrations in tissues affected by the inflammatory process. The drug is generally well tolerated and is suitable for local treatment of inflammation symptoms. The drug is for use on the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat.
The drug is used to treat symptoms (pain, redness, swelling) associated with inflammation of the oral cavity and throat, i.e. in bacterial and viral infections, inflammation of the mucous membranes after radiotherapy, in conditions after surgical procedures in laryngology and dentistry as well as after intubation.

Composition
The active substance of Tantum Verde is: benzydamine (Benzydmini hydrochloridum). 100 ml of solution contains 0.15 g of benzydamine hydrochloride. Excipients: glycerol, ethanol 96%, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, mint flavor composition, saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, polysorbate 20, purified water.
Dosage
Children under 6 years of age: 1 dose per 4 kg of body weight. From 2-6 times a day
Children from 6 to 12 years: 4 doses, from 2-6 times a day
Children over 12 years: from 4-8 doses, 2-6 times a day
Adults: from 4-8 doses, 2-6 times a day
