ZINC REQUIREMENT – HOW MUCH IS NECESSARY AND HEALTHY?
Zinc can be taken in both through food and through dietary supplements – especially if the individual daily zinc requirement is not covered by diet.
The German Nutrition Society recommends 7 mg of zinc per day for women and 10 mg for men. Certain circumstances can lead to increased zinc consumption in the body.
