ECTO RESPIRA – is a 0.9% saline solution with added ectoine and hyaluronic acid, in a single dose form, free from preservatives, intended for nebulization, works on the basis of various mechanisms to remove secretions from the respiratory tract by cleansing the mucociliary structures, stabilizing epithelial cells, improving the function of pulmonary surfactant and reducing inflammatory processes, thus facilitating breathing:
- The Ectoin Hydro-Complex formula physically stabilizes the mucosa, cell membranes, extracellular proteins and other macromolecules and reduces inflammatory processes in the lungs.
- breaking down the ionic bonds of mucous secretions, thereby reducing the viscosity and elasticity of the secretions;
- stimulating the cough and expectoration reflex as mechanisms supporting the removal of mucus retained in the bronchi, which leads to unblocking of the respiratory tract.
ECTO RESPIRA in inhalation therapy is indicated especially for the relief of symptoms in patients with bronchiolitis, acute bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, asthma (allergic and non-allergic), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and allergic reactions of the respiratory tract caused by the inhalation of allergens such as dust or pollen.
Composition
Sterile sodium chloride solution 0.9%, ectoine, sodium hyaluronate.
The product does not contain preservatives. After opening the ampoule, its contents should be used immediately and the ampoule should be disposed of after use to avoid contamination that may be a source of infection.
Use
It is recommended to use the product with a pneumatic nebulizer (compressor), which allows for optimal effects. It is recommended to follow the instructions for use prepared by the device manufacturer. In inhalation therapy, a dose of 5 ml of solution is usually placed in the nebulizer, unless the doctor has recommended otherwise.
