Acc 200 mg 20 Effervescent tablets
Indications
Acc Max is indicated as a drug that thins respiratory tract secretions and facilitates expectoration in patients with bronchitis associated with colds.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age – the daily dose of acetylcysteine is from 400 mg to 600 mg in 2 or 3 divided doses – 1 Acc Max tablet two or three times a day
Children from 6 to 14 years of age – the daily dose of acetylcysteine is 400 mg in 2 divided doses.
Acc Max should be taken after meals. The tablet should be dissolved in half a glass of water and drunk immediately after preparation. During treatment, it is recommended to drink more fluids.
Without a doctor’s recommendation, the preparation should not be used for longer than 4 to 5 days. Acc Max should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Contraindications
– Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or to any of the excipients.
– Active gastric or duodenal ulcer.
– Acute asthmatic condition.
– Reduced ability to expectorate secretions.
– Pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
– Acetylcysteine should be used with caution in patients with asthma (due to the possibility of bronchospasm), in the elderly or with respiratory failure.
– Due to the lack of experience with the use of acetylcysteine during pregnancy and lactation, the preparation should not be used in women during this period.
– There is no evidence that acetylcysteine impairs the ability to drive or operate machinery.
