Product description
Rebutestin is a food for special medical purposes, intended for dietary treatment in:

• inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa (including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease), intestinal infections and disorders of the intestinal flora (e.g. after antibiotic therapy),
• colitis after radiotherapy and chemotherapy,
• constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia,
• bowel disorders (e.g. irritable bowel syndrome),
• nutritional deficiencies (insufficient fiber supply, low-fiber diet).

The product contains sodium butyrate enclosed in pellets covered with a shell and additionally in a capsule made of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. This protects sodium butyrate from the harmful effects of stomach acid and allows it to be transported to the large intestine.

Recommended daily intake
adults: orally 1 capsule twice a day, morning and evening
children over 7 years of age: orally 1 capsule a day, preferably in the evening
