Therapeutic indications
REACTIN is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of seasonal and/or perennial allergic rhinitis with nasal congestion and hypersecretion, itchy nose and/or eyes, sneezing and watery eyes.
Contraindications
REACTIN is contraindicated in the following cases: • hypersensitivity to the active substance, to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1, to hydroxyzine or piperazine derivatives; • severe renal insufficiency (patients with creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min); • Severe arterial hypertension • Severe coronary artery disease • patients receiving or have received treatment within the previous two weeks with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (see section 4.5); • increased intraocular pressure; • Urinary retention • Children under 12 • Pregnancy and lactation (see section 4.6).
Dosage
Dosage Adults and children 12 years of age and older: One tablet twice daily, one in the morning and one in the evening, taken without chewing, during or between meals. The duration of treatment should not exceed the period of acute symptoms and in no case should it last more than 7 days. After 7 days of therapy, continue treatment with cetirizine alone. Special groups of patients Patients with renal insufficiency The dose should be halved in patients with renal insufficiency Patients with hepatic insufficiency The dose should be halved in patients with hepatic insufficiency Pediatric population REACTIN is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age (see section “Side Effects”).

Indications thérapeutiques
REACTIN est indiqué dans le traitement symptomatique de courte durée de la rhinite allergique saisonnière et/ou perannuelle avec congestion nasale et hypersécrétion, démangeaisons du nez et/ou des yeux, éternuements et larmoiement.
Contre-indications
REACTIN est contre-indiqué dans les cas suivants : • hypersensibilité à la substance active, à l’un des excipients mentionnés à la rubrique 6.1, à l’hydroxyzine ou aux dérivés de la pipérazine ; • insuffisance rénale sévère (patients avec une clairance de la créatinine inférieure à 10 ml/min) ; • Hypertension artérielle sévère • Maladie coronarienne sévère • patients recevant ou ayant reçu au cours des deux semaines précédentes un traitement par des inhibiteurs de la monoamine oxydase (voir rubrique 4.5) ; • augmentation de la pression intraoculaire ; • Rétention urinaire • Enfants de moins de 12 ans • Grossesse et allaitement (voir rubrique 4.6).
Dosage
Posologie Adultes et enfants de 12 ans et plus : Un comprimé deux fois par jour, un le matin et un le soir, à prendre sans mâcher, pendant ou entre les repas. La durée du traitement ne doit pas dépasser la période des symptômes aigus et en aucun cas elle ne doit durer plus de 7 jours. Après 7 jours de traitement, poursuivre le traitement avec la cétirizine seule. Groupes particuliers de patients Patients insuffisants rénaux La dose doit être réduite de moitié chez les patients insuffisants rénaux Patients insuffisants hépatiques La dose doit être réduite de moitié chez les patients insuffisants hépatiques Population pédiatrique REACTIN est contre-indiqué chez les enfants de moins de 12 ans (voir rubrique « Effets indésirables »). “).
