Composition
Active ingredients: 20 mg diclofenac sodium, 23.2 mg diclofenac diethylamine, 18.61 mg diclofenac
Other ingredients: Carbomer 974P, cocoyl caprylocaprate (Ph. Eur.), macrogol cetyl stearyl ether (Ph. Eur.) (22 EO units), liquid paraffin, N-ethylethanamine, 2-propanol (Ph. Eur.), propylene glycol (E 1520), oleic acid (E 570), butylhydroxytoluene (Ph. Eur.) (E 321), perfume oil (contains citronellol, geraniol, benzyl alcohol, linalool, D-limonene, citral, farnesol, coumarin, eugenol), purified water.
Scope
For local symptomatic treatment of pain in acute sprains, dislocations or bruises caused by blunt trauma.
The drug is intended for short-term treatment of adolescents aged 14 years and older.
Dosage
The drug is intended for application to the skin.
Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected areas of the body and gently rub it into the skin.
After applying the gel, be sure to wash your hands, unless they are the treatment site.
Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and older
The drug should be applied twice a day (preferably in the morning and evening).
Depending on the size of the affected area to be treated, an amount of gel the size of a cherry or walnut is required, which corresponds to 1-4 g of gel.
The maximum total daily dose is 8 g of gel.
Elderly patients
No special dosage adjustment is required. If you are an elderly person, you should pay special attention to side effects and, if necessary, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Duration of treatment:
The duration of use depends on the symptoms and the underlying disease.
The drug should not be used for more than 1 week without consulting a doctor.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be used if you are allergic to diclofenac or any other ingredient of this medicine,
if you have had breathing problems (asthma, bronchospasm), hives, runny nose or swelling of the face or tongue after taking/using acetylsalicylic acid or another non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (eg, ibuprofen). On open wounds, inflammations or infections of the skin, as well as on eczema or mucous membranes.
In the last trimester of pregnancy, in children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
