Application areas
The medicine is used for the symptomatic treatment of dry cough (unproductive cough).
Dosage
Young people over 12 years of age and adults:
1 capsule (equivalent to 30 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide 1 H2O) every 6 hours
The maximum total daily dose is 4 capsules (equivalent to 120 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide 1 H2O).
Duration of use:
Do not take the medicine for more than 3-5 days without consulting a doctor.
Even if prescribed by a doctor, the medicine should not
be taken for more than two to three weeks.
If you forget to take the medicine:
Do not take a double dose if you have forgotten to take the previous dose.
Contraindications
The medicine should not be taken if you
are hypersensitive (allergic) to dextromethorphan hydrobromide or any other ingredient of the medicine.
