“Compound
The active ingredients of the drug are:
Lactobacillus gasseri DSM 14869 rods not less than 108 CFU* per capsule,
Lactobacillus rhamnosus DSM 14870 rods, not less than 108 CFU* per capsule.
*CFU (colony-forming unit) is the unit that forms a colony.
Excipients: lactitol monohydrate, corn starch, xanthan gum, anhydrous glucose, magnesium stearate. Capsule shell: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171).

Dosage
The medicine should be used vaginally.
Recommended dose:
As a preventive measure immediately after menstruation: one capsule per day (before bedtime) for 4–6 days vaginally.
After antibiotic therapy: one capsule per day (before bedtime) for 6-8 days vaginally.

Action
The bacteria contained in Lactid Intima have strong adhesive properties to the vaginal epithelium, which allows them to colonize and survive in the vagina. Both strains produce lactic acid, and the Lactobacillus gasseri DSM 14869 strain produces hydrogen peroxide, thereby creating an unfavorable environment for the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria.

Indications
Lactid Intima is recommended for use to maintain or restore the normal bacterial flora of the vagina in women. Can be used in girls aged 12 to 16 years (who have started menstruating) on ​​the recommendation of a doctor in the same doses as in adults.
