The active ingredients are: strains of bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus.
1 capsule contains a minimum of 10 billion CFU* of Lactobacillus rhamnosus (Lactobacillus rhamnosus Pen strain 40%; Lactobacillus rhamnosus strain E/N 40%; Lactobacillus rhamnosus Oxy 20%).
Excipients: skim milk, sucrose, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide (E171), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, copper-chlorophyll complex (E141), sunset yellow (E110).

Dosage
Infants, children and adults: one dose (capsule contents or entire capsule) two times daily.
Medicine for oral use. The product should be taken with water or milk at room temperature. The capsule should be swallowed whole or its contents dissolved in about 1/8 cup of boiled water or milk, cooled to room temperature and mixed thoroughly. This method of drug administration is especially recommended for infants and children.
Action
Lactic acid bacteria populate the intestinal mucosa and normalize the composition of the gastrointestinal microflora. They create unfavorable conditions for the development of most pathogenic microorganisms. These strains are resistant to bile salts and gastric juice, as well as a wide range of antibiotics.
Indications
Lactid forte is used for post-antibiotic enteritis, with particular emphasis on the maintenance treatment of pseudomembranous colitis, and also as a treatment for predominantly recurrent pseudomembranous colitis. The drug is also indicated for maintenance treatment during and after antibiotic therapy, as well as for the prevention of traveler’s diarrhea.
Contraindications
Lactid forte should not be used by people with hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of the drug, including cow’s milk protein.”
