Action of Azulan oral solution concentrate
Azulan oral solution concentrate is a medicinal product intended for external and internal use. The liquid ethanol extract of chamomile flowers contained in it is helpful in cases of spasmodic conditions of the digestive tract (it has an antispasmodic and antipyretic effect) and inflammation of the digestive tract (it has an anti-inflammatory effect). The indication for external use of the drug is inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes of the oral cavity and gums.
Chamomile has long been used in traditional medicine for its calming and soothing effects. It is believed that it works by increasing the level of certain chemicals in the brain that help promote relaxation and reduce anxiety. The liquid ethanol extract is made by steeping chamomile flowers in ethanol, which helps to extract the active ingredients from the plant. When to use Azulan?
A herbal medicinal product intended for:

Azulan has a composition based on chamomile extract, however, a contraindication to the use of this product by children is the fact that the preparation is an alcohol solution (low concentration).

Composition
- Liquid ethanol extract of chamomile flowers (Chamomillae anthodii extractum fluidum) (0.5:1) – 100 ml. Extraction solvent: ethanol 70% (V/V).
- The ethanol content in the product is 65-72% (V/V).
Dosage
- Adults and children over 12 years of age: externally (on the skin and mucous membranes): 10% aqueous solution of the preparation (measure 10 ml of the medicine using the enclosed measuring cup and top up with boiled and cooled water to half a glass, i.e. approx. 125 ml), internally: take 5 ml of the medicine 3-4 times a day (measure using the enclosed measuring cup) in a small amount of liquid, preferably boiled and cooled water.
- Children under 12 years of age: use not recommended.
Contraindications
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to chamomile or other plants of the Asteraceae family (formerly Compositae) and in children under 12 years of age.
