Baldriparan Strong for the Night is a herbal medicine for the relief of sleep disorders caused by nervousness. Accelerates falling asleep, promotes a sound night’s sleep, with a high dose of valerian root extract, purely herbal and non-habit forming. The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active substance or any of the other ingredients. Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above for the treatment of sleep disorders caused by nervousness: take 1 film-coated tablet 1/2–1 hour before bedtime. If necessary, you can take 1 more film-coated tablet earlier in the evening. Please swallow the film-coated tablets whole with a sufficient amount of liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water). Do not take the film-coated tablets while lying down. Due to the gradual onset of action, valerian root is not suitable for the acute treatment of nervous sleep disorders. For optimal treatment success, it is recommended to continue treatment for 2-4 weeks. Contains lactose and sucrose (sugar). Note for diabetics: A single dose of Baldriparan Strong at night (1 film-coated tablet) corresponds to 0.015 BE. Even when used as directed, it may affect your ability to drive a car or operate machinery. Therefore, you should not drive a vehicle, operate machinery or perform other dangerous activities until you feel unable to cope with the situation. This is even more true in combination with alcohol. Active ingredient: 1 film-coated tablet contains: 441.35 mg dry extract of valerian root in a ratio of drug to extract as (6-7.4:1). The extraction solvent is ethanol 70% (v/v). Other Ingredients: Maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [vegetable], highly dispersed silicon dioxide, sucrose, gum arabic, talc, macrogol 6000, povidone K 25, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, carnauba wax, calcium carbonate, shellac, purified castor oil, bleached wax and dyes E 171 and E 132. Side effects: After taking preparations containing valerian roots, gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g. nausea, abdominal cramps) may occur. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Please do not take this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package or carton. The expiry date is the last day of the stated month.
