1 g of the product contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol, carbomer, disodium edetate, sodium hydroxide, water and cetrimide as a preservative.
Directions
Puro Epithel is a medical device that helps maintain hydration and protect the ocular surface by creating a protective film. It helps maintain the physiological balance of the ocular surface in terms of hydration and protection of the corneal epithelium. It alleviates the sensation of dryness or foreign body, burning or tired eyes caused, for example, by prolonged exposure to television or video terminals, as well as air from heating or air conditioning systems.
The physical properties of carbomer allow the product to bind water, forming a lubricating and moisturizing film on the ocular surface, which prolongs the mean tear film breakup time in patients with dry eye syndrome and other conditions causing dry eyes.
Directions for use and dosage
Before using the product, wash and dry your hands thoroughly;
Tilt your head back;
Pull your lower eyelid down to create a “pocket” between the eyelid and the eye;
Hold the tube vertically over your eye;
Gently squeeze the tube and drop one drop into each eye;
Close the lid tightly before use.
Warnings
Do not use the product if you have a known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients. If eye irritation occurs, stop using and consult a doctor. Do not use if the packaging is damaged. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat. Do not touch the tip of the tube to the surface of the eye or your fingers. Do not use the product after the expiration date stated on the package. It is not recommended to share the product with multiple users. The viscous nature of the product may cause temporary blurred vision. Use caution if you have to drive vehicles or operate machinery. Before applying the product, remove contact lenses and wait 15 minutes before putting them back in. Applying the product while wearing contact lenses may contaminate their surface. In case of concomitant treatment with any other ophthalmic drug, wait 15 minutes between eye drops. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use. The product is usually intended for continuous use for no more than 30 days. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.”
