Application areas
Active ingredient – flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines work by affecting the body’s response to pain, swelling, and fever.
The spray is used for short-term relief of sore throat symptoms such as inflammation of the lining of the throat, pain, swelling, and difficulty swallowing in adults aged 18 years and over.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is:
Adults aged 18 years and over
Spray 3 sprays into the back of the throat as needed every 3 to 6 hours.
Use a maximum of 5 sprays in 24 hours.
One dose (3 sprays) contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen.
Contraindications
The spray should not be used if you
are allergic to flurbiprofen, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), acetylsalicylic acid or any of the other ingredients,
have previously had allergic reactions after taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or acetylsalicylic acid, such as: B. Asthma, shortness of breath, itching, runny nose, skin rashes, swelling,
have or have had an ulcer or bleeding (two or more cases of stomach ulcers) in the stomach/intestine area
have ever had severe inflammation of the colon (colitis),
have ever suffered from bleeding disorders or bleeding after taking NSAIDs
are in the last three months of pregnancy
have severe heart, kidney or liver failure.
