- Itami is a medicine in the form of a medical plaster for short-term use in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age. The plaster is used locally for symptomatic treatment of pain accompanying strains, sprains, bruises.
- Composition
The active substance is
diclofenac sodium.
One medical plaster contains 140 mg of diclofenac sodium.
- Excipients:
butyl methacrylate basic copolymer, acrylates copolymer, macrogol 12 stearate, sorbitan oleate.
Polyester carrier layer
: paper monosilicone protective layer.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
External use medicine (only on the skin, epidermis) for painful areas.
The patch should be applied to intact, unaffected skin.
Adults and adolescents over 16 years of age: 1 patch 2 times a day, morning and evening.
If the injury occurs in several places, do not use more than 2 patches per day. Use only on one painful area at a time.
Improvement should occur after 7 days, otherwise or if the patient feels worse, consult a doctor.
In the case of adolescents over 16 years of age, when the use of ITAMI patches is necessary for more than 7 days, or if symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.
- Instructions for use:
1. Tear the bag along the perforated line and remove the medicated patch.
Applying the patch:
2. Remove one of the two protective films from the patch.
3. Apply to the area to be treated and remove the second protective film.
4. Press gently with your hand so that the patch sticks to the skin.
Removing the patch:
5. Moisten the patch with water, peel off the edge of the patch and gently peel off the patch.
6. To remove any product residue, wash the treated area with water, gently massaging with your fingers in circular motions.
If necessary, the medicated patch can be secured with a knitted bandage.
The medicated patch must not be used with a tight airtight bandage (occlusive dressing). Do not use in the bath or shower. The medicated patch should not be divided.
