DOSAGE FOR CHILDREN:
Prevention of iron deficiency anemia in newborns, including premature and low birth weight newborns and children: Use under the supervision of a physician depends on individual needs. Recommendations from the National Consultant in Pediatrics: 1-2 mg iron/kg body weight/day.
Iron deficiency and anemia – infants and preterm and low birth weight infants and children at birth: under medical supervision depends on individual needs. Recommendations from the National Consultant in Pediatrics: 4-6 mg iron/kg body weight/day (divided into 2-3 doses).
PRECAUTIONS : May be hazardous to health if consumed by people who do not have a medical indication for its use. Intended for use under medical supervision.
NOTES: The product must be thoroughly mixed before use to obtain a homogeneous suspension. To do this, shake the vial vigorously for at least 30 seconds. After proper mixing, the suspension darkens. The metered dose should be administered directly into the mouth immediately after preparation.
In the case of infants who are fed only milk, it is recommended to introduce the product after about 15 minutes. before milk delivery or 2 hours after.
