WHAT IS ACYCLOVIR

Acyclovir is the drug of choice for the treatment and prevention of herpes simplex infections. For people with frequent or more severe forms of herpes, it may be wise to consider herpes prophylaxis to reduce the frequency of recurrences. This is especially important during the period of exposure to factors that cause recurrence of herpes in the patient (for example, increased exposure to sunlight, stress, fever, or before aesthetic medicine procedures). For this purpose, acyclovir is used twice a day at a dose of 400 mg in 1 tablet 1,6,7. Studies have shown that the use of this therapy reduces the recurrence rate of herpes by more than half, and in the case of genital herpes, reduces the recurrence rate by up to 84% 4,8 .

Hascovir control, 200 mg, tablets. Composition: 1 tablet contains 200 mg of acyclovir (acyclovir).
Dosage form: tablet.
Indications for use: Prevention of relapses of herpes simplex in immunocompetent patients. The drug can only be used in patients with a history of herpes simplex infection.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity to acyclovir, valaciclovir or any of the excipients.
