Composition
Active ingredients: Acyclovir 400 mg.
Other ingredients: Propylene glycol, White petrolatum, Paraffin, Poloxamer, Sodium dodecyl sulfate 67.5 mg, Cetyl stearyl alcohol, Dimethicone, Arlacel, Purified water.
Scope
Activir herpes cream is used to relieve pain and itching with herpes on the face.
Dosage
Apply to the affected areas of the skin 5 times a day at intervals of 4 hours. Therapy should be started as early as possible, the duration of treatment is 4 (-10) days.
Apply only to the skin (lips and skin around the lips). Wash your hands before and after applying the cream.
Contraindications
Do not apply to the eyes, wounds in the mouth or vagina, or mucous membranes. Do not use as a preventive measure. Not recommended for patients with severe immunodeficiency.
Side effects
Temporary tingling, burning, itching, drying, peeling of the treated area of skin. Rare: hypersensitivity (swelling of the skin (angioedema)).
