llernon® is a medicine for allergies (antihistamine).

Allernon® 10 mg tablets are indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and chronic, idiopathic urticaria (hives, with itching, redness and hives of the skin).

It has an anti-itching effect, reduces swelling of the mucous membranes and reduces excessive fluid secretion from the mucous membranes.

Available over the counter (may only be given to children under 12 years of age with a doctor’s prescription) and only available in pharmacies.

For a body weight of 30 kg or less: half a tablet daily.
For a body weight of over 30 kg: one tablet daily.

The safety and efficacy of Allernon 10 mg tablets in children under 2 years of age have not been established.

Type of application

Take the tablets whole with some liquid.
The medication can be taken regardless of meals.
The tablet can be divided into equal doses.

Ingredients

The active ingredient is loratadine. 1 tablet contains 10 mg of loratadine.

The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, povidone and magnesium stearate.

Application

Dosage: The recommended dose is one spray of Azelastine POS Nasal Spray per nostril twice daily (morning and evening). This corresponds to a daily dose of 0.56 mg azelastine hydrochloride.
Use in children and adolescents: Due to a lack of data on safety and efficacy, Azelastine POS Nasal Spray must not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Duration of use : Azelastine POS Nasal Spray can be used until symptoms subside, but should not be used continuously for longer than 6 months. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if your symptoms worsen or if you do not notice significant improvement after using Azelastine POS Nasal Spray for more than 3 days.
Method of administration : Azelastine POS Nasal Spray is intended for nasal use. Azelastine POS Nasal Spray should always be used by the same person.
