Scope
elmex dental gel is used to fluoridate tooth enamel by topical application (e.g. by rubbing with a toothbrush or by the dentist using a gel carrier).
For home use:
Treatment of initial enamel caries in combination with dietary and oral hygiene recommendations.
Superficial mineralization of sensitive tooth necks.
In dental practice:
Decalcification of enamel under removable splints, partial dentures and devices for correcting malocclusion
Refluoridation of areas of primed enamel
in selective grinding and in case of trauma to the tooth enamel.
For home use:
Once a week, apply about 1 cm of Elmex dental gel to a toothbrush and brush your teeth. Rinse quickly after 2-3 minutes. The total application time (brushing and holding time) should not exceed 5 minutes. It is best to use before bedtime.
For maximum effect, do not eat or drink for 15-30 minutes after application. The dentist will determine the need for more frequent treatment. It is necessary to ensure that children do not swallow while brushing their teeth. Elmex dental gel can only be used after the teeth have learned to spit out foam.
In dental practice:
