Dosage
Shake well before use.
Espumizan drops can be taken immediately before, during or after meals, if necessary also at bedtime.
Infants over 1 month: 1 ml-2 ml (20-40 drops), which corresponds to 40-80 mg of simethicone, daily in 2 (10-20 drops 2 times a day) to 4 (4 times a day, 5 drops) – 10 drops in several doses; the total daily dose is not more than 80 mg; Espumizan drops should be added to a bottle of milk or given by teaspoon before or after breastfeeding.
Children from 1 to 6 years old: 1 ml (20 drops), which corresponds to 40 mg of simethicone, 3 to 5 times a day.
Children from 6 to 14 years old: 1-2 ml (20-40 drops), which corresponds to 40-80 mg of simethicone, 3 to 5 times a day.
Adolescents and adults: 2 ml (40 drops), which corresponds to 80 mg of simethicone, 3 to 5 times a day.
The writing
(1 ml – 20 drops of oral emulsion contains): 40 mg of simethicone.
