Supportive treatment of acute and chronic respiratory diseases, such as inflammation of the sinuses, nose, trachea, larynx, bronchi or lungs.
- Composition
The active substance of the drug is erdosteine (Erdosteinum).
1 sachet contains 225 mg of erdosteine.
Excipients: sucrose, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), silicon dioxide, sucralose (E 955), anhydrous malic acid, orange flavor [corn maltodextrin, flavoring substances, α-tocopherol (E 307)].
- Dosage
For children over 12 years of age, 1 sachet 2 times a day, while for adults, 1 sachet 2 or 3 times a day.
A drug for oral use, after preparing a thin, cloudy suspension by mixing the contents of the sachet in 120 ml (about half a glass) of water at room temperature. The suspension should be consumed immediately after preparation. Due to the expectorant effect of the drug, it should not be used before bedtime. A doctor should be consulted if the patient feels worse or there is no improvement after 3 days of therapy.
