“Composition
Each sachet contains: Active ingredient: ketoprofen lysine salt 40 mg (equivalent to 25 mg of ketoprofen).
Excipients
Povidone, colloidal silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, eudragit EPO, sodium dodecyl sulfate, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, aspartame, mannitol, xylitol, talc, lime flavor, lemon flavor, frescoforte flavor
Therapeutic indications
Pain of various origins and nature, in particular: headache, toothache, neuralgia, menstrual pain, muscle and bone-joint pain.
Dosage
Adults and children over 15 years old: 1 sachet once or repeatedly 2-3 times a day for the most severe forms of pain. The contents of the sachet can be placed directly on the tongue. Dissolves in saliva: this allows it to be used without water. It is preferable to take the drug on a full stomach. Do not exceed the recommended doses: elderly patients should adhere to the minimum dosages indicated above. The duration of therapy should be limited to overcoming the painful episode.
Contraindications
The drug should not be prescribed in the following cases: • hypersensitivity to the active substance or to other similar drugs (anti-inflammatory agents, acetylsalicylic acid and its derivatives, etc.), hypersensitivity to any of the excipients, • manifestations with skin rash, rhinitis or asthma, • confirmed or suspected pregnancy (see section 4.6 – Pregnancy and breastfeeding), during breastfeeding and in children under 15 years of age, • patients with gastric ulcer or duodenal ulcer, gastritis and chronic dyspepsia, • patients with leukopenia or thrombocytopenia, with active bleeding or hemorrhagic diathesis, receiving treatment with anticoagulants, • patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, • patients who have undergone major surgery. In addition, concomitant use of other anti-inflammatory drugs and acetylsalicylic acid is not recommended. Active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding, history of ulceration or perforation related to previous active treatment, or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/bleeding (two or more separate episodes of confirmed ulceration or bleeding). Severe heart failure.”
