The drug is a so-called antiseptic, i.e. it acts locally on the skin and wounds against various pathogenic bacteria and fungi and is used, for example, against wound infections. When applied locally, it suppresses the formation of the bacterial wall and thereby leads to the rapid death of pathogens.
The solution prepared from the drug is used for antiseptic irrigation of wounds and body cavities; it can also be used in the mouth and throat area.

The drug should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to ethacridine lactate, other acridine derivatives or other ingredients.
The solution prepared from the drug should not be used in the eye area.
Dosage
The usual dose is:
To prepare a solution with a concentration of 0.1%, dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 1 liter of warm water with constant stirring; to prepare a 0.05% solution, dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 2 liters of water. If you have heated the solution, cool it to room temperature before use.
Do not use the product for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor.
Side effects
Rarely, especially in connection with exposure to sunlight, allergic skin reactions may occur, but they quickly disappear after stopping the use of the solution. Rarely, swelling of the face, itchy hives, headaches and mild cramps have been observed.
Inflammatory skin reactions may occasionally occur.
The drug should not be used during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
