Compound
The active ingredients of the drug are: paracetamol, phenylephrine, ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
1 sachet contains 300 mg of paracetamol, 5 mg of phenylephrine hydrochloride and 20 mg of vitamin C.
Excipients: sodium saccharin, sodium cyclamate, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, corn starch, sucrose, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, lemon flavor 610399 E, curcumin. (E100).
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Use in children aged 6 to 12 years: 1 sachet every 4 hours up to 4 times a day.
The drug should not be used more often than every 4 hours. Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.
The powder should be dissolved in hot water before administration.
Pour the contents of one sachet into a glass, fill halfway with hot water, mix well and drink. Add cold water or sweeten if needed.
Action
Coldrex Junior S is a multi-directional combination drug used to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu.
Paracetamol has an antipyretic and analgesic effect. Phenylephrine reduces nasal congestion, reduces swelling, and makes breathing easier.

Junior C is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of influenza or colds with fever, chills, headache, sore throat, rhinitis (runny nose) in children aged 6-12 years.
Contraindications
When not to use Coldrex Junior S
if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
if you suffer from severe liver or kidney failure,
if you are taking zidovudine (used to treat HIV infection)
when taking monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors and within 2 weeks after stopping their use.
Do not give medicine to children under 6 years of age.
Side effects
Like all medicines, Coldrex Junior S can cause side effects.
Stop taking the drug immediately and contact your doctor if you experience:
allergic reactions such as a skin rash or itchy skin, sometimes with difficulty breathing or swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, or face
skin rash or peeling, mouth ulcers,
breathing problems if you have had similar problems in the past while taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
unexplained bruising or bleeding
loss of vision, which can be caused by excessively high intraocular pressure. This is very rare but can happen in people with glaucoma.
an unusual fast pulse or a feeling of an irregular heartbeat,
difficult urination. This is more likely in men with an enlarged prostate.
problems with the liver (which may be indicated by yellowing of the skin and eyes, soreness of the liver).
These reactions are rare (more than 1 in 10,000 but less than 1 in 1,000 patients) or very rare (less than 1 in 10,000 patients).
Coldrex Junior S may also cause the following side effects:
headache,
dizziness,
