“Composition
Components
Active ingredients: 1 ml of solution contains: naphazoline nitrate 0.8 mg, tonsilamine hydrochloride 1 mg.
Excipients: Sodium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium citrate monobasic, sodium edetate, benzalkonium chloride, levomenthol, ethyl alcohol, water for injection.

Directions
Alfa Antistaminico eye drops are used for inflammation caused by eye allergies (redness, lacrimation, burning, increased sensitivity to light, foreign body sensation and itching caused by irritants such as excessive exposure to dust, smoke, etc.).

Contraindications
It should not be used by people with closed-angle glaucoma or other serious eye diseases. Hypersensitivity to the components or other related chemicals. The drug should not be used in children under twelve years of age. Concomitant treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

Dosage
Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye up to 2-3 times daily as needed. Strictly adhere to the recommended doses. Higher dosages of the product, even when applied topically and for a short period of time, may cause serious systemic effects. If symptoms persist or worsen after a short period of treatment, consult a doctor. In any case, the drug should not be used for more than 4 days in a row, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, as undesirable effects may occur.

Warnings
Despite the fact that the drug has very low systemic absorption, it should be used with caution in patients suffering from hypertension, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, bronchial asthma and hyperglycemia (diabetes). Infections, pus, foreign bodies in the eye, mechanical, chemical, thermal damage require medical intervention. Accidental ingestion may cause central nervous system depression (pronounced sedation or hypotension). Since the 10 ml bottle contains benzalkonium chloride, soft contact lenses should not be worn during treatment. Since the single-dose package does not contain benzalkonium chloride, it can be used by people wearing contact lenses or by people with hypersensitivity to benzalkonium chloride.

Storage
Eye drops, 10 ml bottle: Store in the original package. Shelf life after first opening: 30 days. Eye drops, single-use: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, in the original package. The single-dose package does not contain preservatives; for this reason, each opened single-dose container must be discarded after use, even if only partially used.”
