Indication:

The medicine is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug/antirheumatic drug, NSAID).
It is used for symptomatic treatment
- the acute headache phase in migraine with and without aura
- of tension headaches

Dosage:

Always take this medicine exactly as described or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration needed to relieve symptoms. If you have an infection, seek medical attention immediately if symptoms (e.g. fever and pain) persist or worsen.
dosage
- Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is:
  - 20 – 29 kg body weight (children: 6 – 9 years):
    - Single dose: 1/2 film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen)
    - max. daily dose: 1 1/2 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 600 mg ibuprofen)
  - 30 – 39 kg body weight (children: 10 – 11 years):
    - Single dose: 1/2 film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen)
    - max. daily dose: 2 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 800 mg ibuprofen)
  - >/= 40 kg body weight (adolescents from 12 years and adults)
    - Single dose: 1/2 – 1 film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 – 400 mg ibuprofen)
    - max. daily dose: 3 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen)
  - After taking the maximum single dose, an interval of at least 6 hours must be observed until the next dose.
- Elderly people and patients with a previous stomach or duodenal ulcer
  - These patients should start with the lowest dose and be monitored by a doctor.
- Impaired kidney or liver function
  - In cases of mild to moderate impairment of renal or hepatic function, no dose reduction is necessary.
- Use in children and adolescents
  - If children and adolescents need to take this medicine for more than 3 days, or if symptoms worsen, medical advice should be sought.
