Composition
Active ingredients: 500 mg hydrotalcite.
Excipients: Magnesium stearate, Banana flavor, Peppermint flavor, Sodium saccharin, Mannitol, corn starch, Levomenthol.
Scope
Talcid chewable tablets relieve heartburn in minutes by regulating excess stomach acidity and maintaining the pH level in the stomach in the optimal range. They are well tolerated and are currently the most recommended remedy for heartburn.* And that’s not all: the chewable tablets have a pleasant, light peppermint taste, dissolve quickly without leaving crumbs, and do not stick to the user’s teeth.
Talcid chewable tablets are suitable for children aged 12 years and older; They are vegan and do not contain lactose and gluten.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the usual dose for adults and adolescents is
Heartburn and other stomach problems caused by stomach acid: 1-2 chewable tablets as needed.
Stomach and small intestinal ulcers: 2 chewable tablets 3-4 times daily after meals and at bedtime. Treatment should be continued for at least 4 weeks after symptoms have disappeared.
Chewable tablets should be chewed thoroughly.
The total daily dose should not exceed 12 chewable tablets.
Contraindications
If you are allergic to hydrotalcite or any of the other ingredients, you should not take this product. Patients with myasthenia gravis, renal failure and hypophosphatemia should also not take the drug.
Pregnant women can take Talcid chewable tablets only for a short period of time, and breastfeeding women should not take them at all.
Side effects
