Scope
Lefax intens liquid capsules are used for the relief and symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with gases, such as flatulence (bloating), a feeling of fullness, belching, cramping abdominal pain, postoperative pain associated with gases and functional dyspepsia, as well as for preparation for diagnostic examinations of the abdominal cavity, such as endoscopy, radiography and sonography.
Dosage
Always take Lefax intens liquid capsules exactly as directed in this leaflet.
Taking Lefax Intens liquid capsules is very simple: adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over take one capsule up to four times a day for gastrointestinal complaints associated with gas formation – during or after meals and, if necessary, before bedtime. Do not chew the drug, but swallow it with a sufficient amount of water (for example, 1 glass of water).
The duration of use depends on the course of symptoms. If necessary, Lefax Intens liquid capsules can be taken for a longer period of time, but not more than 30 days.
Use in children:
For children under 14 years of age, other dosage forms are recommended, for example: Lefax Pump-Liquid or Lefax chewable tablets.
Contraindications
Lefax Intens liquid capsules should not be taken if you have hypersensitivity (allergy) to simethicone or any other ingredient of the liquid capsules.
