Laif 900 Balance. Active ingredient: dry extract of St. John’s wort. For the treatment of mild depressive episodes (disorders). The drug Life 900 Balance should not be taken if you are allergic to St. John’s wort or any of the other ingredients. Adults and children aged 12 years and older should take 1 film-coated tablet once a day after breakfast, without chewing, with liquid. Since the effect of the drug increases gradually in the first days of taking, Life 900 Balance should be taken continuously, with a period of at least 14 days being desirable. If you have taken Life 900 Balance in too large a quantity or have forgotten to take it, you should continue taking it as described in the dosage instructions. Acute symptoms of poisoning after taking St. John’s wort preparations have not yet been registered in humans. Side effects: allergic skin reactions, gastrointestinal disorders, fatigue or anxiety may rarely occur. In rare cases – especially in people with fair skin – increased sensitivity of the skin to intense UV radiation (sunbathing, solarium, tanning bed) may lead to unpleasant sensations (tingling, sensitivity to pain and cold, burning) and reddening of the irradiated areas of the skin (photosensitivity). Under certain circumstances, urine may become more intensely yellow. This is due to the natural dye riboflavin (vitamin B2) in the tablet coating and is therefore harmless. Composition: 1 film-coated tablet contains the following active substance: dry extract of St. John’s wort (3 – 6: 1) 900.0 mg (extractant: ethanol 80 vol.%). Other ingredients: sodium carboxymethyl starch, sodium croscarmellose, eudragit E 100, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, macrogol 4000, magnesium stearate (vegetable), sodium hydrogen carbonate, riboflavin E 101, talc, titanium dioxide E 171. One film-coated tablet contains less than 0.1 BE. There is no sufficient data on the safety of using film-coated tablets, LIFE 900 Balance during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, do not take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
