Bepanthen scar gel is a silicone gel, the modern composition of which is developed based on the latest scientific discoveries. Bepanthen scar gel is used both for the treatment of fresh scars after wound closure, and for the treatment of old scars (including hypertrophic scars).
When used regularly for several months, Bepanthen Scar Gel helps prevent the appearance of red and raised scars. B. after an injury, burn or surgery.
Bepanthen Scar Gel will help make old scars flatter and softer. Redness, tension and itching, which are common side effects of scars, are also relieved with application.
Suitable for both adults and children from three years old.
Application and dosage
If the wound has not healed within a month:
Use only the scar gel.
Bepanthen Scar Gel can only be used after the wound has completely healed.
Take a sufficient amount of Bepanthen® Scar Gel (depending on the size of the scar) and apply it with your finger to the scar so that a thin film is formed. Then let the gel dry for a few minutes (for example, before getting dressed).
Apply Bepanthen Scar Gel twice daily (e.g. morning and evening).
Reapply the gel after swimming, showering or intense exercise.
Bepanthen Scar Gel should be used for at least two months.
Please note: The gel should not be used until the wound has completely closed. The massage roller should not be used earlier than one month after the wound has closed; Before this, the tissue is still too sensitive. Bepanthen Scar Gel should not be used near the eyes.
Cleaning instructions: The massage roller can be wiped with a damp or dry cloth; Do not wash under running water.
If skin reactions or pain occur during use, stop using and consult a doctor. Do not use the scar gel if you are allergic to its ingredients.
