Active ingredients of the drug: diclofenac sodium, tribenoside, escin.
Excipients: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
Dosage
Venogel should be applied topically to the skin of adults 3-4 times a day at intervals of several hours. The amount of gel used should be adapted to the size of the affected area. Most often, it is recommended to use a strip of gel about 4 cm long at one time. After application, distribute the medicine and gently massage until completely absorbed. Wash your hands after applying the product, unless your hands are the area being treated.
Do not use longer than 4 weeks. If symptoms worsen or do not go away after 7 days of use, consult a doctor.
Action
Venogel contains 3 active substances with complementary effects. Diclofenac reduces pain and inflammation. Tribenoside also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties and supports the proper functioning of blood vessels and joints. Escin counteracts exudation, swelling and inflammation.
Indications
The gel is used for: postoperative, post-traumatic and congestive edema of the lower extremities; inflammation of the veins of the lower extremities; pain syndromes accompanying spinal diseases; post-traumatic pain in muscles and joints after injuries (bruises, sprains, ruptures) or mild and limited forms of arthritis.
Contraindications
Venogel should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to diclofenac, tribenoside, escin or any other ingredient of the drug. Contraindications to the use of the drug include: damage, inflammation of the skin and open wounds, as well as the occurrence of asthma attacks, urticaria or acute rhinitis after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs.
Warnings and Precautions
Do not apply the medicine to the eyes or mucous membranes. If the gel gets into the indicated areas, rinse thoroughly with water.
During therapy and for 2 weeks after its completion, it is recommended to avoid direct exposure to sunlight and solarium lamps.
Venogel contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, which can cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed reactions).
Store at temperatures below 25°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
