“This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 1 year. For maintenance treatment of dry, flaky, itchy and sensitive skin, such as atopic eczema (neurodermatitis), psoriasis, ichthyosis.
Application
Recommended dose
for adults and adolescents from 12 years:
for a full bath (approximately 150 l) use two measuring cups (30 ml), for a partial bath (5 l) use about 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml)
Children from 1 to 11 years:
for a baby bath (approximately 25 l) use 1/3 measuring cup (5 ml).
Use in children under 1 year is possible only on the recommendation of a doctor.
To measure the required amount, the inside of the screw cap can be used as a measuring cup.
How to use:
For application to the skin.
Balneum Hermal – bath additive is added to the water at the entrance to the bath and mixed thoroughly until evenly distributed.
The water temperature in the bath should not significantly exceed 36 °C, as the moisturizing effect slowly decreases at higher temperatures. For the treatment of itching, the temperature should be 32 °C or as low as is perceived as comfortable.
The duration of the bath is determined individually, but should not exceed 15-20 minutes.
In children, an application of several minutes is usually sufficient.
The frequency of application depends on the type and severity of complaints. In general, baths are recommended at intervals of 2-3 days. Daily bathing is also possible.
Balneum Hermal bath additive can also be used for showering. The preparation is applied undiluted to moistened skin and then washed off with a shower.
After bathing or showering, the skin should only be lightly patted dry with a towel. Strong drying and rubbing reduce the effectiveness of the procedure.

Contraindications
Balneum Hermal – bath additive should not be used if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to refined soybean oil, soy, peanuts or any other ingredient of this preparation (listed in section 6).
