Indications
APAP for children FORTE is a drug for the short-term symptomatic treatment of pain of mild to moderate intensity (for example, headache, sore throat, pain and / or fever with influenza or colds, pain with otitis media, toothache, painful menstrual pain during teething, muscle and bone pain, pain and / or fever associated with a post-vaccination reaction, fever with chickenpox or viral diarrhea, pain after removal of the tonsils).
APAP for children FORTE is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever in children weighing up to 40 kg (approximately 0 months to 12 years), children over 12 years of age, adolescents and adults (including the elderly).
Dosage
Dosing should be based primarily on the weight of the patient. The recommended daily dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg / kg body weight per day, which is divided into 4-6 doses per day, i.e. 15 mg / kg body weight every 6 hours or 10 mg / kg body weight every 4 hours.
In children under the age of 3 months, the drug is used only after a doctor’s recommendation. The exact amount of APAP for children FORTE should be administered using the 5 ml oral syringe (graduation every 0.25 ml) or the 6 ml oral syringe (graduation every 0.25 ml) supplied.
After using the oral syringe, rinse your mouth several times (filling it with water).
In case of high fever (> 39°C), signs of infection, or prolonged symptoms lasting more than 2 days, contact your doctor. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose, but take the dose of FORTE Children’s APAP at the usual time.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in the product.

Stop taking the drug immediately and contact your doctor if you experience allergic (allergic) reactions to paracetamol, such as: Quincke’s edema (swelling of the face, neck and genitals), shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), profuse sweating (increased sweating). , nausea, or a drop in blood pressure.
Do not use this medicine after the expiration date which is stated on the package and on the vial label after EXP. Expiration date means the last day of the month.
Shelf life 3 years. The oral suspension should be used within 6 months of first opening the vial.
