“Composition of the drug
Verolax children’s rectal solution contains:
Active substance: glycerin 2.25 g
Excipients: liquid mallow extract; Liquid chamomile extract; Wheat starch; Purified water.
Dosage and method of administration
of the drug Verolax Bambini Rectal solution is administered as follows: 1 or 2 disposable containers for 24 hours.
In case of persistent constipation, no more than two doses can be administered into the rectum at the same time. The correct dose is the minimum sufficient dose that ensures easy passage of soft stool. Initially, it is recommended to use the minimum indicated doses. If necessary, the dose can be increased, but not exceeding the maximum indicated dose. The product can be used at any time of the day.
Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. For longer use, a doctor’s prescription is required after an adequate assessment of the individual case.
Contraindications
Known individual hypersensitivity to the product. Anorectal diseases, hemorrhagic colitis and inflammation of hemorrhoids.
Special warnings
