Amertil Bio tablets are used to counteract allergic symptoms caused by various allergens.
It is indicated in the treatment of adults and children over 6 years of age: chronic and seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, chronic urticaria.
- Composition
Active substance: cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg.
Excipients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, modified starch, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol. - Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age are usually recommended to use 10 mg (1 tablet) per day, preferably in the evening.
In children aged 6 to 12, the drug is used depending on body weight. Children weighing more than 30 kg are given 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily, while children weighing less than 30 kg are given 5 mg (1/2 tablet) once daily. For people who are particularly sensitive to the drug and for children, the recommended dose can be given in two portions, every 12 hours.
