“Ingredients
Sodium carboxymethylcellulose 0.5%, glycerin 0.9%, sodium hyaluronate 0.1%, boric acid, sodium borate decahydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, erythritol, levocarnitine, purified water, and sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid to adjust pH.
Directions
A sterile, preservative-free, multi-dose solution containing sodium carboxymethylcellulose 0.5%, glycerin 0.9%, sodium hyaluronate 0.1%, boric acid, sodium borate decahydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, erythritol, levocarnitine, purified water, and sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid to adjust pH.
How to use
Prepare the bottle for first use:
1) Remove the clear protective cap by pulling it upwards. Discard the clear cap. Do not use Optive Advance if the clear protective cap or tab is damaged or missing.
2) Remove the tab from the colored cap by pulling the tab end away from the bottle and turning it counterclockwise. Discard the tablet.
3) Remove the colored protective cap by pulling it upwards. Save the colored cap for future use.
4) Activate the bottle for first use by slowly squeezing it and squeezing a drop of product onto a tissue. Familiarize yourself with the time and pressure needed to deliver the drop. Wait a few seconds after squeezing for the drop to fully expel. Be sure to inflate the balloon after each spray. Repeat this step twice. Avoid allowing the tip of the bottle to come into contact with the tissue.
5) The bottle is now ready for use. Gently squeeze the center of the bottle and dispense one drop into the affected eye. Please note that it may take a few seconds for the bottle to release the drop. Do not squeeze the bottle too hard. Dispense 1-2 drops into your eyes as needed. After administering the medicine, allow the bottle to swell and then replace the colored protective cap by pressing it down.
Please note that when used as directed, a small amount of Optive Advance may remain in the bottle and will not be completely dispensed.
Warnings
Do not use if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Do not swallow the solution. To avoid contamination or possible eye injury, do not place the tip of the bottle on any surface and avoid direct contact with the eyes. Do not use after the expiration date printed on the product. Do not use if protective cap or tab is damaged or missing. Do not use if the solution is discolored. Keep out of reach of children. There should be a 5-minute interval between ophthalmic applications. Any remaining solution should be discarded 3 months after first opening. Stop use and consult a doctor if you experience eye pain, vision changes, persistent eye redness or irritation, or if your condition worsens.
Storage
Store at room temperature. Use before the expiration date stated on the package.”
