“Compound
The active ingredient of the drug is ambroxol hydrochloride (Ambroxoli Hydroloridum).
5 ml of syrup contains 30 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride.
Excipients: hydroxyethylcellulose, sorbitol, non-crystallizing liquid, glycerin, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, benzoic acid, Tutti-Frutti flavor, purified water.
The syrup does not contain sugar.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: orally, 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day during the first 2–3 days of treatment, then 5 ml of syrup 2 times a day.
Recommended doses are used in the treatment of acute respiratory diseases and in the initial period of treatment of chronic conditions.
If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 4 to 5 days, contact your doctor.
For long-term treatment (more than 14 days), the dose can be halved.
Do not use before bedtime.
Action
The active substance of Envil cough medicine is ambroxol hydrochloride, which has an expectorant effect and dilutes secretions in the respiratory tract.
Indications
As an adjuvant for acute and chronic respiratory diseases leading to difficulty in expectorating viscous bronchial secretions, for example:
emphysema, bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, bronchitis, laryngitis.
