NutroZIN Activlab Pharma is a product containing as many as 12 active substances: OMEGA 3 acids, EPA, DHA, lutein and zeaxanthin, resveratrol, vitamins C, D, E, copper, selenium and zinc, which supports proper vision. Lutein and zeaxanthin occur in the most optimal proportion of 5:1. Omega-3 acids are of great importance for our eyes, which are extremely popular among people who care about their health. More and more is being said about their beneficial effects on the body. Omega-3 acids include eicosapentaenoic acid EPA, docosahexaenoic acid DHA or α-linolenic acid ALA. All of them are important for the proper functioning of many systems – from the circulatory system, through immunity, to eye health and good vision. Lutein is a yellow pigment found in plants, has antioxidant properties and has the ability to filter light radiation. This substance belongs to the compound of catretenoids, it should be used by people exposed to excessive use of eyesight. Supplementing the diet with lutein and zeaxanthin reduces the risk of retinal degeneration and cataracts, which can cause vision loss. Lutein and zeaxanthin improve the image processing process and reduce the effect of tired eyes, especially when working on a computer for long periods of time. Resveratrol has a direct effect on our visual organ, which, like all other organs, functions thanks to the fact that it is included in a complex system of blood vessels that supply it with essential nutrients. The choroid – a layer adjacent to the retina in the eye and tasked with nourishing it – is composed of tiny blood vessels, the condition of which directly translates into the functioning of the retina, and therefore also – being its central part – the macula. Resveratrol has an antiangiogenic effect, inhibiting the formation of new, pathological blood vessels that appear in conditions of retinal hypoxia. The product also contains vitamins C, D, E, copper, selenium and zinc, which support proper vision.
