Abra test strips are used for self-measurement of glucose levels in capillary (capillary) whole blood. They are intended for use with Abra pressure gauges only.
Method of using a medical device
Before using the medical device, carefully read the instructions for use enclosed in the packaging of the strips and the glucometer!
Brief description of the procedure:
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry them with a clean towel.
Remove the test strip from the package and insert it into the meter. The counter turns on automatically.
Tighten the container lid immediately.
Puncture according to the instructions that came with the lancing device. Always use a new sterile lancet!
If a drop of blood forms, gently touch it with the end of the test strip. When the strip fills properly with blood, the meter will beep.
Read the result after 5 seconds. Depending on the meter option installed, the result will be displayed in mg/dL or mmol/L.
Discard the used strip and lancet in an appropriate container.
Wash your hands with warm water and soap.
Contraindications and precautions
The test strips should be used within 3 months of first opening the vial.
Store in a tightly closed original container in a dry place.
