Active ingredient: calcium dobesilate monohydrate.
One tablet contains 250 mg of calcium dobesilate monohydrate.
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, potato starch, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, crospovidone.
Dosage
Medicine for oral use. The dosage should be determined depending on the severity of symptoms.
Adults 500 to 1000 mg per day. If necessary, the dose can be doubled.
The medicine should be taken with food.
Action
The drug reduces capillary permeability, increases their strength, prevents the formation of exudate and improves microcirculation.
The drug increases the tension of the vein walls, which prevents stagnation and the formation of blood clots in the veins. Increases collagen synthesis, reduces plasma viscosity, increasing its flow through peripheral tissues. It has a sealing effect on the vessels of the lymphatic system, reducing swelling, which leads to the disappearance of pain and a feeling of heaviness in the limbs.
Indications
Symptomatic treatment of chronic venous insufficiency.
Diabetic retinopathy.

Side effects

Rare (affects 1 to 10 in 10,000 people):
nausea and diarrhea;

Very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 people):
agranulocytosis (a decrease in the number of granulocytes, a type of white blood cell that causes greater susceptibility to infections);
itchy rash with erythema.

Rostil contains lactose. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
